Once you get to the ship and deposit the machine part in its place, you'll beat the mission. The worm is extra nasty now, and can't wait to gobble you. When you get it, head back to the ship, touching as little sand as possible. Drop off and get it, then run ahead and jump on the next bit of desert junk. Head to the tilted crate next to the large stone tower, and you'll see the final piece… the Power Coupling. To get it, drop off of the high piece that sticks up diagonally from the sand. Then go back to the ship, and take the Energy Cell to the second room back and install it. Get up on the tall rock that overlooks it, then drop down on it, and quickly jump up on one of the stepping stones. Left of the shortest one is another piece. Stand on the flat rock near the sand and look toward the stepping stones. Jump down and get it, then head back to the ship.įrom the ship hatch, head slightly left toward the rocks. Run over to the rusty brown crate and hop on it, then pick your way over to the rocks. Jump down on it, and move between the debris as you work your way to the left.įrom your position on the slanted gray crate, look ahead at the detritus scattered in the sand. Stand at the hole in the side of the ship and pull the piece of wing to you with a Force Pull. In the engineering hold, grab the Power Converter. For this reason, 3.1 may be more suited to single player, when there tends to be more time between killings. The downside is that with so many more images getting drawn everywhere, the game erases old sprites in order to let the new ones land, so sometimes it looks like the blood's evaporating wicked fast as new blood lands on the ground. Added tails (for us nerds who know what those are) to go jetting out on saber hits and paste small bits of gore wherever they land. More diversity within the sprites themselves and a trend toward more splatter but less red (less ground coverage). Saber impact and particle splatting sounds may be a little loud, but I like the explosive water-baloon-popping sort of aura they help create.ģ.1 - a move toward smaller textures that spurt more often. Extreme dismemberment and small red puff-clouds on gun and saber impacts. This mod comes in two versions - 1.5 and 3.1.ġ.5 - lots of big, wide sprites (I think that's what they're called) all over the place emphasis on volume and area coverage. I was obsessed with the game BloodRayne at the time of authoring this so it may bear some resemblance. This mod attempts to provide a more immersive hack-slash experience than the default sparks and sparkles that get chucked out when you stab someone normally (or shoot - this mod works with guns as well, with the exception of the Stouker).
